I recorded this video one week after the 2016 US election. The day after the election, I felt really confused and curious as to how Donald Trump got elected, and then stumbled on the concept of Twitter bots. I started to research about them, and in the process discovered more about the involvement of Cambridge Analytica, Robert Mercer, and then, eventually, the Russian government. I became almost paralyzed with fear. I didn’t know who to tell or what to tell, but I thought I needed to tell someone.
In this video, I share my exploration into how we had become infected with hate, and how I believed it could be cured with love.
