When: Mar 29, 12:00 – 15:00 (America/Detroit)
Where: Online with Zoom

Grieve. Eat. Party.

In this time of lockdown, I believe we need a space to grieve, to process the losses we experience in life. The goal with this event is to come together virtually to let out our pain and get back to the joy of living.

I'm not sure how this event will go, and yet I trust that together we will help each other through these challenging times.

NOTE ON THE AGENDA
The event will be 3 hours long. It feels a bit long to me and yet I don't want us to rush through grief—I want us to give enough space to what may unfold.

If you feel pretty confident you can join at the starting time and stay for the whole 3 hours, please register. If you think you may be late or can or only want to stay for part of it, I request that you don't register at this time.

PROPOSED AGENDA
1) We grieve. (12:00pm-1:15pm)
I facilitate the group in sharing stories of our loss and we hold space for each other to feel the full range of the emotions we're feeling. Everyone is allowed to share as much or as little as they want. If there's too many people, then perhaps only a few people will share or I can split the group into smaller breakout groups, we'll have to play it by ear.

---15 min break---

2) We eat. (1:30pm-2:15pm)
We each bring some food and drink for ourselves and we share our meals together. People can continue to converse and if some of you want, I can split you into breakout groups, either with who you choose or randomly, to have smaller conversations.

---15 min break---

3) We party. (2:30pm-3:00pm)
I DJ, playing music over Zoom so people can dance, chill out, and/or party! If some of you want, I can split you into small breakout rooms where you can have your own private party or conversation.
