Last month, I applied to the Compassion & Technology Contest at Stanford’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE). Last week, I found out that I had not been selected.
I felt rejected and used iFeelio throughout my reaction. This video tells you the story of how I felt being rejected and how iFeelio helped me digest the experience to come to a place of strength and acceptance instead of bottled up, suppressed pain.
It is my first ever attempt at spoken word poetry, whether in public or private. I thank those this weekend who demonstrated to me the eloquence and power that this format delivers.
